Toyota recently made the redesigned Camry official through a press released outlining the major changes, and that makes this a great time for the team at Yokem Toyota to provide you our early 2025 Toyota Camry review. There will be four core trim levels offered for the inaugural year of this new ninth generation. The LE is the base trim and includes everything most drivers need at a fantastic price point. The SE is a sportier model that has a sport-tuned suspension and exterior and interior sport appearance packages. The XLE adds even more creature comforts and advanced technologies, and the XSE combines the sportier look and feel of the SE with the more upscale nature of the XLE.

Interior

The 2025 Toyota Camry is a two-row, five-passenger vehicle that is roomy enough for tall drivers, accommodates adult passengers in the rear seats and boasts a spacious trunk. Standard equipment includes premium cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, a center infotainment touch screen, a wireless charging pad and a six-speaker audio system. The SE adds simulated leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the XLE and XSE add genuine leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, a digital instrument panel and a larger touch screen.

Exterior

The 2025 Toyota Camry boasts a bold new look, but it doesn’t change much in terms of form factor. The Camry is a midsize sedan with four doors and a trunk. The minimum ground clearance is 5.7 inches, and the overall length is approximately 16 feet. The LE and XLE have the standard Camry appearance. The SE and XSE have a sportier appearance, and the XSE even adds a rear spoiler. All exterior lighting is LED. Aluminum wheels are standard, and wheel sizes range from 16 to 19 inches.

Mechanical

Push-button start is standard equipment. Keyless entry and remote start are available through Yokem Toyota. The SE and XSE have a sport-tuned suspension, and the XSE has a dual exhaust system.

Powertrain

This is perhaps the most exciting aspect of our early 2025 Toyota Camry review as there are a number of big changes in this category. All-wheel drive has been a long-requested feature and is now available as an option with all trim levels. Front-wheel drive remains standard. Toyota has also made the switch to a hybrid powertrain exclusively. All models have a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain that provides a combined output of 225 hp with FWD and 232 hp with AWD.

Safety

An 8-inch infotainment touch screen is standard. It is upgraded to a 12.3-inch screen with the XLE and XSE. Both feature voice recognition and all of the other infotainment bells and whistles that our customers expect. Toyota Safety Sense is standard an includes most of the advanced driver-assistance technologies offered for the new Camry: a rearview camera system, automatic high-beam headlamps, adaptive cruise control with road sign recognition and low-speed follow, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, forward collision warning with automatic braking and pedestrian detection and lane departure warning with automatic steering assist.
