When Toyota announced the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander, people were immediately intrigued by the idea of a maxed-out Highlander. Parts of its popularity have always been its unique exterior design, something that often wins over buyers on sight. Toyota has always kept their Highlander models iconic with a sleek, straight hood and aggressively tall hood. When Toyota unveiled the model, the first thing people noticed about the exterior was the aggressive angles on the front end. You’ll notice that the windshield slants and then abruptly straightens out into a sleek Grand Highlander hood line. There’s an angled look to the Grand Highlander’s hood, though, and that’s a departure from most traditional Highlander model years. The result is a more modern look. Toyota also gives the new Grand Highlander flared fenders for a more off-road appearance. Toyota opts for a black-painted front grille for their Grand Highlander.
There’s a lot of polish around the model. You’ll notice a silver-painted finish to the front lower bumper chin, silver-painted roof rails, and a rear spoiler with an LED center high-mount stop light (XLE trim). Grand Highlander models also get Toyota’s suite of outstanding mechanical features, such as front and rear stabilizer bars to balance out the drive and keep the model rigid in tough turns.
