The 295 horsepower Highlander is suiting up for the long haul this year, with a new tech-focused mindset and a much more cuddly interior. Most of all, though, you’ll notice that the Highlander makes short work of outdoing the sometimes overrated Pilot. These two models are natural competitors, but this year the Highlander pulled a real surprise. It completely outdoes the Pilot on technology and eclipses it in the safety department, too. While they’re both similar in interior quality, we believe the Highlander actually offers that little something extra that the Pilot never got around to. Overall, the Highlander is the true winner.
